Seit fast zwei Jahrzehnten schreibt das Fürstenauer Unternehmen cdVet eine wirtschaftliche Erfolgsgeschichte. Zunächst aus einer Garage in Hollenstede gegründet, hat sich cdVet inzwischen zum Weltmarktführer auf dem Sektor der natürlichen Tierernährung entwickelt. Dank der vielfältigen, innovativen Fütterungs- und Pflegekonzepte konnte cdVet seine Absatzmärkte neben dem EU-Raum und Russland auch auf den gesamten arabischen Raum und die Boomregionen in Fernost ausdehnen. Nachhaltigkeit auf der Basis des „Fair Trade Konzepts“ zeichnen daneben die in jüngster Zeit verstärkten Handelsbeziehungen auf den afrikanischen Kontinent aus.
Höchste Ansprüche an die Qualität der erzeugten Produkte, der Produktionsprozesse und der Rohstoffe sind die Basis für den Erfolg von cdVet. Daher gehört es zur Unternehmensphilosophie, alle relevanten Unternehmensbereiche „inhouse“ also am Firmensitz in Fürstenau unter einem Dach zu vereinen. Zu realisieren ist dies nur mit einer hoch motivierten und kompetenten Belegschaft, die die Unternehmensphilosophie nicht nur umsetzt, sondern täglich in der Praxis lebt.
Der vielfach propagierte Fachkräftemangel ist daher für ein so breit aufgestelltes Unternehmen wie cdVet ein essentielles Thema. Bereits vor Jahren hat cdVet diese drohende Problematik erkannt und bei der Mitarbeitergewinnung innovative Wege gegangen. Familienfreundliche Teilzeitregelungen, flexible Arbeitszeitkonten sowie die partielle Möglichkeit der Nutzung eines Homeoffice schaffen für viele Mitarbeiter attraktive Rahmenbedingungen.
Bereits seit Jahren legt man bei cdVet darüber hinaus größten Wert auf die Ausbildung junger Menschen. Über die klassischen Inhalte des dualen Ausbildungssystems hinaus, hat cdVet in den vergangenen Jahren ein Konzept zur zusätzlichen unternehmensinternen Weiterbildung der Auszubildenden entwickelt. Neben einer guten fachlichen Ausbildung wird den erfolgreichen Absolventen zudem die Möglichkeit geboten, nach der Lehre eine Anstellung im Unternehmen zu finden. Als ausgesprochen förderlich erwiesen hat sich für cdVet die enge Kooperation mit den Schulen der Region sowie den öffentlichen Institutionen, die im Bereich der Berufsausbildung tätig sind. Für das aktuelle Ausbildungsjahr hat cdVet seine Anstrengungen auf diesem Sektor nochmals verstärkt. Die Resonanz war ausgesprochen positiv, denn insgesamt acht junge Erwachsene haben am 01. August ihre Ausbildung in Fürstenau begonnen. Neben den verschiedenen kaufmännischen Berufszweigen erfolgen Ausbildungen im Bereich IT, Veranstaltungsmanagement und Lagerlogistik. Zwei Jahrespraktikanten bereichern zudem den Personalstamm und streben damit den Erwerb der Fachhochschulreife an. Um dieses hohe Ausbildungsniveau auch zukünftig halten oder gar noch ausbauen zu können, bietet cdVet regelmäßig Plätze für Praktika an. Die Palette reicht dabei vom Zukunftstag über Schulpraktika bis hin zu den bereits erwähnten Jahrespraktika. Dabei können sich Interessierte jederzeit gerne an die Personalabteilung wenden. Denn auch in den kommenden Jahren wird die Ausbildung qualifizierter Fachkräfte ein wesentlicher Baustein der cdVet Unternehmensphilosophie bleiben.
