Tick protection for dogs

With our competence brands ZeckEX and Insektovet you can safely get through the tick time. Whether as a SpotOn, as a spray or lotion. Once applied, her dog is less attractive to the annoying bloodsuckers, and is avoided. The reinforced repellents from cdVet Naturprodukte are also available in practical travel size, so that the protection can also be comfortably refreshed on the go as required. Ticks can be removed by the owner themselves. There are various tools available to prevent the tick's head from getting stuck. However, the bite wound should be observed afterwards in order to be able to react quickly if necessary.

Some dogs show hardly any symptoms, while others are more sensitive. If you notice signs of discomfort or behavioral changes in your dog after a tick bite, it is advisable to consult a veterinarian.

Ideally, a tick should be removed up to 12 hours after the bite. After about 12 hours, the tick begins to feed on blood and pumps saliva that may be infected with pathogens into the dog's blood.

The smell prevents ticks from biting without synthetic additives. This reduces the risk of a tick bite when walking your dog. Due to the herbal active ingredients, the cdVet ZeckEx Spray is very well tolerated by both our four-legged friends and humans. This means that sunny days in nature can be enjoyed to the fullest.

The tick itself is usually not dangerous for the dog. However, dangerous pathogens of various infectious diseases are transmitted via the tick's saliva when it bites.
