It consists of almost 70% highly digestible protein and contains a variety of vitamins, trace elements, minerals, chlorophyll, and amino acids. This makes it also suitable as a supplement for increased activity requirements. The contained blue pigment phycocyanin can have a supporting effect on the liver and kidney circulation and intercept free hydroxyl radicals. Since spirulina is not a marine algae, its iodine content is rather low.

Feeding recommendation: Add daily to the feed. Cats: 0.5 g/5 kg body weight. Dogs: 0,5 g/10 kg body weight. 1 quarter tsp. corresponds to ca. 0.5 g / 1 tsp. corresponds to ca. 2.5 g. We recommend a feeding period of 6 weeks.
