REPTIN MitesSpot is a skin-care fragrance oil based on cold-pressed, organic Egyptian black cumin oil and organic coconut oil, which masks the animal‘s own odor. The animal is no longer perceived by insects and pests as an attractive host worth infesting. The body odor of the animal is slightly affected. This odor is imperceptible to humans and animals, but unbearable to insects and pests.

Expert Tip: The application of REPTIN MitesSpot is recommended in the first third of the animal. Most reptiles have a kidney-portal vein circulation in which the blood from the caudal half of the body is first supplied to the kidneys. For this reason, medications and care products should never be applied to the last third of the body, caudal to the kidneys. This is to prevent secondary plant compounds from reaching the kidneys in large concentrations. It is also assumed that a large proportion of the secondary plant constituents are excreted before they are effective.
