The original habitat of New and Old World camels are the mountainous areas of the Andes in South America and the desert regions of North Africa and the Near East. Here one finds predominantly sparse vegetation consisting of simple grasses, bush-like plants, and mosses. The mineral content of these plants tends to be high, whereas the protein content is low. Incorrect nutrition and excessively ‘fatty‘ (protein-rich) pastures, as are common in this country, can lead to obesity and metabolic disorders in camels. This mainly affects the detoxification organs liver, kidneys, and also the secondary detoxification organs intestines and skin.
priVet KamelFit is a combination product made from natural minerals and herbs that specifically addresses the special needs of camels. It supports the liver and kidneys, activates metabolic processes and, thanks to the herbs, trace elements, and methionine it contains, promotes excellent wool growth and a fine, shiny fleece. When fed regularly, priVet KamelFit can also have a positive effect on the capacitance and balance of the animals. A balanced diet with optimum basic nutrients, demand-oriented concentrates and the best supplementary feed is just as important as the best husbandry conditions and an individually adapted training program.

Additives/kg: Technological additives, bentonite (1m558i) 90 g. Amino acids: L-lysine from L-lysine monohydrochloride (3c322) 31 g, L-methionine (3c305) 20 g.
The total amount of bentonite must not exceed the permitted maximum level in complete feedingstuff of 20000 mg/kg of complete feedingstuff.
Analytical constituents: crude protein 13.6%, crude fat 6.2%, crude fiber 8.7%, crude ash 32.4%, calcium 6%, phosphorus 0.6%
Feeding recommendation: Add daily to the feed. Dromedaries, Bactrian camels: 25-50 g/animal. Guanacos, llamas, alpacas, vicuñas: 5-10 g/animal.
The simultaneous oral use with macrolides shall be avoided.
