The pseudo-gestation of the bitch has its origin in the ancestors of our dogs, the wolves, to ensure the survival of the pack. All female wolves of a pack had synchronized their cycle and could thus provide for the puppies of the highest-ranking female wolf. Even in our dogs, the meaning and purpose behind a pseudo-gestation are still the same. Some bitches even start building a nest or start carrying toys around instead of real puppies. Often the mammary line is swollen, and often even milk comes out.

cdVet CycleRegulat has a regulating influence on hormonal events and naturally and gently regulates problems with heat and recurrent pseudo-gestations. Through its influence on prolactin, the hormone responsible for milk production, it can reduce the flow of milk and bring calm and relaxation to the stressed bitch. The combination of valuable herbs makes cdVet CycleRegulat a natural support for hormonal imbalances such as in heat and pseudo-gestation.

Composition: monk’s pepper, green oat, rose hip hucks, brewers‘ yeast cell walls (MOS), couch gras root, milk thistle, raspberry leaves, pansy herb

Additives per kg: Technological additives: bentonite (1m558i) 34 g, clinoptilolite of sedimentary origin (1g568) 20 g

The total amount of bentonite must not exceed the permitted maximum level in complete feedingstuff of 20000 mg/kg of complete feedingstuff. Total quantity of clinoptilolite of sedimentary origin from all sources shall not exceed the maximum content of 10000 mg/kg.

Analytical constituents and levels: crude protein 9.3%, crude fat 4.4%, crude fiber 23.0%, crude ash 8.8%, calcium 0.75%, sodium 0.1%, phosphorus 0.26%, ash insoluble in HCl 4.5%

Feeding recommendation: mix 1 g/10 kg body weight with the feed daily. 1 half tsp. corresponds to approx. 1 g.

In bitches with known tendency to pseudo-gestation, start feeding at the beginning of the heat and maintain it for 3 months. In case of permanent, hormonal imbalances we recommend permanent feeding.

The simultaneous oral use with macrolides shall be avoided.
