Milk substitute for puppies when hand-reared, tube-fed or supplemented
The worst case scenario for breeders - the newborn puppies cannot be fed by their mother. Be it temporary (e.g., after a cesarean section, delayed milk letdown, or inflamed teats) or permanent (due to the death of the bitch or lack of acceptance by the bitch).
In these cases, it is rare to find a suitable foster bitch in a timely manner. Then, a milk substitute is needed that, in addition to the important components of any mother's milk, also contains colostrum, which is vital in the first 24 hours to build up the puppies' immune system. Therefore, ProBreeder Milk To Go is also particularly suitable for weak puppies without a sucking reflex or puppies with cleft palates, both of which must be fed via a gastric tube during the critical first three weeks.

Analytical constituents: Crude protein 29.42%, crude fat 22.62%, crude fiber 0.01%, crude ash 6.27%.
Feeding recommendation: Mix 1 part milk substitute with 3 parts hot, but no longer boiling, water until lump-free and allow to cool to feeding temperature. Feeding amount: approx. 15-25 ml/100 g of puppy weight per day.
Feed with a suitable boiled bottle and teat; for small dogs, if necessary, with a Luer syringe and a suitable, attachable silicone teat. The feeding amount can vary depending on the breed and nutritional status of the puppy. The puppy's stomach should be pear-shaped after feeding. The amount of liquid can be determined by weighing the puppy before and after feeding. If the mother is unable to groom the puppies herself, stimulate the excretion of feces and urine with a lukewarm washcloth after each feeding. Do not save or reuse leftovers.
